Saros - Software Application for RMA and Inventory Management
Saros is an application offering comprehensive solutions for RMA departments. It enables product tracking by serial numbers which greatly eases warehousing activities reduces manual work and improves maintenance of data. Full capabilities of program are truly realized by wholesale type of business and warranty service centers.
The main function of Saros is an online tracking and monitoring of a history of every single product sold or serviced by business. It cuts the costs and makes the work of RMA department more efficient.
Saros is used by warehouse and RMA staff:
- serial numbers of incoming goods as well as information about outgoing items should be entered in warehouse, this allows automatic warranty form/card generation based on inventory status,
- our application helps RMA department in tracking and updating status of warranty claims, following transactions types can be processed as well: requisitions, return to vendor, return to stock, physical stock counts. Suitable documents are automatically generated.
Technology: Visual Basic, C++, MS Jet 4.0 (MS Access 2000)
Database engine: MS SQL Server 2000, currently adapted to Sybase
