SNaK - Cash Register Monitoring System
Modern and integrated product complementary to standard CCTV systems in the supermarkets.
Main tasks of SNaK:
- checking the correctness of all operation done on the till,
- registration of alert events, e. g. cancellation of bill or sale
- on-line analysis of sales, cashier efficiency, and valuation on frequency using the cash
Checking the correctness of all operation done on the till is completed by comparison of bill contents and related video sequence recorded at a time of sale.
SNaK system is connected with CCTV installation as well as cash register system. The connections are done by specialized electronic devices. Their design guards against any interference with existing installations and is fully transparent to them.
At the heart of the SNaK system lies a PC with dedicated software working as the control station. The main tasks of the station is full registration of information coming from the cash registers in the form of bills as well as viewing and registration of video sequences from tills in case of alerts. Alert events are defined by user based on the type of events generated by the till terminal, e.g. bill cancellation, sales of specified type of product.
